Seattle Pride Parade is June 28. March with us!

Posted on

PFLAG Seattle will be marching in Seattle’s Pride Parade, and we invite PFLAG members, allies and their loved ones to join us.

This year’s parade theme is “Rally.” As PFLAGers, we know all about Fighting for Our Pride and that Our Love is Louder than the attempts to harm, erase or silence LGBTQ+ people. Let’s show how loud we can be, just as PFLAGers have done for more than 50 years. The parade is a celebration of pride, yes, but this year it also is a protest march—against hate and discrimination and for equality, acceptance and understanding of our LGBTQ+ loved ones and families.

The parade will take place in downtown Seattle on 4th Avenue and begin at 11 AM. The 1.5-mile route starts at 4th and Union and ends at Seattle Center.

We don’t yet know where the staging spot will be for our group, so check your email during June for updates from us on when and where to show up.

Wear our chapter’s yellow “We Are Family” PFLAG T-shirt. If you don’t have a T-shirt, you can request one while registering at the link below. Sign up now so we have time to deliver a shirt to you.

Signs!

We will have “Fighting for Our Pride/Our Love is Louder” signs for you to carry, if you want. Or we encourage you to make your own. Keep in mind that because of PFLAG’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status signs cannot target political parties or politicians, but they can state your opposition to anti-LGBTQ+ policies that affect our families.

PFLAGers are ready to march in Seattle’s 2025 Pride Parade. It’s a lot of fun! Sign up to march with us today!
