Multimedia exhibit explores, celebrates gender variance

Gender Personal, an exhibit by artist (and PFLAG mom) Jacqui Beck explores and celebrates gender variance through art, poetry, and recorded interviews. Its vision is to increase awareness of the natural experience of gender variance and to foster understanding, leading to social change and acceptance.

Gender Personal will be exhibited at Kirkland Arts Center from May 24 through July 12.

Exhibit opening night and reception: Friday, May 23, 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Exhibit presentation: Saturday, June 7, 7 to 9 p.m. A free event you won’t want to miss!

Gender PersonalArtist Jacqui Beck will talk about the project, accompanied by slides and audio recordings. Special guests will participate in a discussion of gender variance with a Q&A afterward. Refreshments will be provided.


The exhibit will also be on display at the Gender Odyssey Conference at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle Aug. 14-17.
