Online Support Meeting w/guest Mitch Hunter, GenPride
February 28 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm PST
Being an older adult—maybe it’s a change in housing, healthcare, or a loss of community—can mean isolation. Our LGBTQ+ (Rainbow) elders, having survived decades of discrimination and the trauma inherent in being in a marginalized and often invisible community, have unique hurdles to overcome.

This is where GenPride can help. The organization advocates for the unique needs of older LGBTQIA+ adults, offers innovative programs and services that promote wellbeing and prevent social isolation, cultivates belonging through community connection, and works to eliminate discrimination in all its forms.
Mitch Hunter, training manager of GenPride, will join us for the first hour of the meeting to tell us about GenPride’s Rainbow Elder Equity Training and answer your questions. The support portion of the meeting will occur in the second hour.
PFLAG Seattle provides much-needed support to LGBTQ+ people and their families in the Seattle community. Now, we’re proud to continue providing you trusted support, meeting you where you are—wherever you are.
To ensure our meeting space remains safe and private, we require everyone to sign-up for each meeting individually. Simply click the Register button and complete the form.
